Skyscrapers - Shenzhen Energy Mansion

Shenzhen city in the South of China was beautified by two skyscrapers owned by the energy company Shenzhen Energy Mansion.  Those two towers, 220 and 110 meters high, highlight from the general urban view due to its curved blinds made of metal panels. They create a feeling of pleated fabric in which both towers are wrapped. The author of this interesting project is the Danish company Bjarke Ingels Group.

The hinged facades of the walls were installed in such a way that they protect the rooms from bright rays, taking into account the movement of the sun during the day, but do not hide the view of the city. The sustainable facade system has reduced the energy consumption of the building without moving parts or complex technologies.
