Modern architecture in the historical center of Ufa

Quite recently, KREMLEWSKI shopping center appeared in the capital of Bashkortostan, at the intersection of Tsuryupa and Kommunisticheskaya streets. Located in the historical and business part of the city, KREMLEWSKI continues the traditions of the nobility and merchantry. Surprisingly, the architectural monuments of the early 19th and 20th centuries have been preserved here, therefore, while constructing a new shopping center, the main task of the architects was the harmonious introduction of a new format of «multifunctional center» into the manor style of ancient mansions which create a special atmosphere here. For the successful implementation of this extraordinary project, natural wood materials would be the most suitable material. But their fragility and exposure to the negative effects of atmosphere, threw discredit upon the whole ideas of the KREMLEWSKI creators.

The solution has been found - composite panels of the Russian manufacturer BILDEX, imitating the structure of natural wood that suited the design idea perfectly. Vertical panels from the BILDEXart series create the impression of ship timber – that is the neighborhood with ancient merchant estates that turned out to be the most consonant. Due to the fact that the front part of the composite panels has a decorative polymer coating, such a facade will retain its appearance for many years under influences of bad weather.
